Corrie Lindroos Photography donated a family session as an auction-able item for this year’s local fundraising event, the Guns & Hoses hockey game. The Wilson family received the session and while capturing a moment in their family’s life, they also helped a local family.
The game between the Squamish Fire Rescue Service (the “SFRS”) and the Squamish RCMP was won in overtime by the SFRS, 7-6. This event raised a total $4,950 and the Squamish Firefighter’s Association matched that amount bringing in a total $9,900.
This year’s benefiicary was the Lazaridis family’s young son, Theo. Theo was diagnosed with leukemia this past year and you can learn more about Theo’s fight here: https://www.facebook.com/theosbasecamp/info?ref=stream
